Ann is great. I don't care what her other ratings say. I sincerely believe that many of the rated lawyers on this website receive negative comments from other lawyers rather than "clients". |

Anne Schmiege has represented me on several occasions. The first was in my divorce which was finalized in 2007, and most recently, she represented me when I had an automobile accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury and became unable to work, therefore being unable to continue to pay my child support payments until I am capable of getting back to work.
Anne has always been extremely knowledgeable and approachable. She always makes herself available to me whenever I have a question and she took extra time to explain to me exactly what I could expect in my cases. Anne is always prepared, honest, and fair and I could not have asked for a better attorney to represent me fairly, vigorously, and with so much competence of the legal system. I would strongly recommend Ms. Schmiege and I will, undoubtedly, call upon her and her firm again should I need additional legal assistance. |

Anne is very knowledgeable and gave me great comfort and direction in an area that I knew absolutely nothing about. When the other party was not providing the information required, she was persistent in a firm, respectful way which I appreciated and was important in my situation. She was very in tune with what was important to me. Everything went very smoothly and without flaw, even the Judge complimented Anne's skills when we were in court. I hold her in high regard and do not hesitate to recommend her! |

I had to drop my first lawyer for not returning calls on time, over-billing for simple tasks, etc., etc., etc. Anne took over and accomplished more in 1 week than my first lawyer did in 10 months. I'm so glad I found her! |

Summa****Laude means "really smart". Asks pertinent questions and keeps to task -does not over-bill and is flexible on payment terms as long as payment is being made. She and her assistant make a thorough team. Very good with the family law process and the hoops that have to be jumped through. My case had several moments that demanded immediate action and her response was immediate. Retains good level of professionalism without being intimidating to her clients. Courtroom manner is reserved, but intelligent. |
