This attorney handled a bankruptcy case for me. He was awful. I was three days from a mortgage modification and he threatened to keep the money I paid him as non-refundable if I would not sign the bankruptcy papers. He cussed me. He called me names. he would call my home at night an ask for more money than the agreed upon amount of $1500.00. He misfiled the bankruptcy paperwork and my bankruptcy ended up dragging on for six months. The judge was very angry with him. The judge scolded him and said he did sloppy negligent paperwork and mishandled our filing. He told the judge he was handling the rest of the bankruptcy ProBono but when we were outside the court he said he wasn't. He ended up hiring another attorney to help him correct and complete the bankruptcy hearing. Afterwards he charged me another $1500.00 dollars which I've been paying on a little each month. Now, he has served me with a court summons to pay another $3,580.00 which is the other attorney fee, which he hired |
