TERRIBLE! After 17 years of marrige, on May 22, 2007, I discovered, by accident, that my (then) active duty Air Force Master Sergeant husband (Aubrey Lee Posey Jr.) was (IS) a cross dresser. Spent the next 3 months trying to 'save' my marriage. In the end, he decided, "His heart just wasn't in it..." July 2007, canceled the adoption of our baby daughter. August 2007, left him. Remained married for 3+ more years, so I could continue receiving health coverage, cancer survivor. Kept his secret for the 3+ years, so he could retire. Know what my 'lawyer' got me? Rather than a portion of his retirement pay and/or medical coverage for life, my 'lawyer' got me $700 a month for 4 years. Oh! and 'icing on the cake', turns out my ex-husband was engaged BEFORE and DURING our divorce... We were divorced December 14, 2010, he remarried in April or May of 2011. |
