I came before Justice Sanderman on one occasion in a family law matter. Unlike many he had taken the time to read the affidavits and evidence prior to the hearing and demonstrated a full and reasonable understanding of the complex matters. He was clearly aware of the issues involving the children making an order that served their interests and was reasonable for the parents. He also recogneized a developing crisis and made a fiat to file a stalled appliction to deal with my ex's moving the children without telling me. In my matter he was fair, unbiased, informed, and facilitatory. It is unfortunate that he did not attend the followup hearing as it could have saved a great number of problems going forwards? |
