My experience with Lorne MacLean has been Amazing. I live in a small community about 6 hours North of Vancouver. For 6 years i have been going through a very complicated and volitile custody battle. On the 7th year i contacted Lorne MacLean and he immediately set up a meeting. During this year Lorne MacLean has done more for my case than all of the numerous other lawyers have done in the six years before him. I had talked to many lawyers and retained a few, sadly they produced very bleak results. Lorne was the only one that believed in my case and fought in court for a child who was less than a year old to have his father in his life. No parent, mother or father should have to fight so the child can be with both parents. Lorne was able to get equal parenting time. I can't thank you enough for what you have done.Children deserve to have both parents in their life......I have looked at lot of lawyers and Lorne is in a league of his own....a million thanks! |

Lorne Maclean and Johanna Stein were a cut above the rest with a heart felt shared custody victory for a 26 month old boy and his father in Supreme Court. The Maclean and Stein team won the shared child custody case with there brilliant and meticulous detailed factual argument. Mr MacLean is very knowledgeable and extremely intelligent. He does not waste a moment of your time but rather is highly efficient in both his thought processes and communications. Thanks to the 'Ultra Pro' Lorne McLean and his super assistant, Leena Ronak Yusefi, I have just spent the first full week with my 2 1/2 yr old boy in 9 months!! Whats even better is I get an additional week and she has to meet me half way!! In the last 12 mths I comuted to Kelowna from Whistler 25 times just to see my boy for 1 1/2 days every two weeks. Lorne Maclean and his team did an excellent job preparing for this case. They spent many long hours making sure that they were extremely well prepared going into the hearing. The case law was well researched and many details were explored beforehand so that during the hearing, the case that Lorne presented seemed knowledgeable, well-reasoned, and fair. His courtroom presence was professional yet personable. His years of experience allowed him to appear at ease in court. Yet underneath the calm exterior, Lorne's very fine mind allowed him to respond quickly and appropriately to the judge's questions. Lorne was able to bring up specific points of evidence and at the same time, he was able to effectively summarize his arguments. I left the courtroom feeling that my very best case had been presented, and that win or lose, Lorne had done an excellent job. |

We were very pleased with the outcome of the child custody lawsuit handled by Lorne MacLean and his able assistant Leena Ronak Yousefi. They worked long hours, nights and weekends to sort through the chaos and translate their knowledge to a successful presentation. Lorne was especially kind and competent in the court room, handling the case well in spite of heavy opposition, and seems a master of the courtroom scene. His experience is so valuable when dealing with dramatic family members and touchy issues of control and custody. We are most grateful that we were led to the right choice of lawyer and staff, and commend them for their proficiency. A father is now allowed shared custody of his toddler son. |

Lorne was an amazing help for me through my entire divorce process. I found him to be incredibly knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and I always felt that he was doing everything in his power to get me the best possible settlement. I was very happy with the final outcome. I also found his staff to be very professional and just as easy to communicate with.
