I obtained Paula's services for defence of a DWI due to the fact that the firm advertised on the web as DWI Lawyers and she led me to believe her background was in this field. After a number of discussions and a review of my file by Paula, we discussed my case and opportunities for defence. I was told "my best chance was if the constable did not show for the trial". After this discussion I figured with my life hanging in the balance I would be better off with different counsel. I did more research and found a lawyer that took my case and won easily due to a lack of evidence and poor testimony on the part of the constable. Paula did not claim to be senior counsel and in my opinion needs considerably more experience in DWI cases. In my opinion she should have made her background more clear to me. |
