Pathetic!! Doesn't listen, has his decision made before the case starts and is completely out of date in thought process. Child abuse reported 2 times by the Burlington Police Department to DHS. Perp's relative works with DHS and miracuously the reports are unfounded although police felt injuries warranted investigation. Linn decides the reports are lies from the perp's exspouse. If the police belieed it warranted investigation and the the perp has a relative inside the DHS system wake up during trial and use some common sense. Needs voted out as soon as poosible. this my experience and personal opinion and full utilize my Admendment Rights of Freeedom of Speech. I'm sure he's not aware of those either. |

This "attorney" knew of my innocense. He told me to wait for a better offer from the county attorney. The day before trial he begged me to take th plea. I told him, "no", several times. He then promised me no halfway house (since I am severely disabled physically & mentally), a pardon in 5 years, an instant appeal if the judge didn't accept this plea, and other lies. At the plea hearing the next day he did NOT even show up. The plea was NOT taken, I was refused an appeal, sent to the halfway house, forced into physical labor, then sent to prison for 5.5 years . . . I was INNOCENT. He did this to me so he could accept his new role as district judge. Now I disabilities are worse than ever and I can neve be employed anywhere in my country. He is a LIAR and now a well-known alcoholic. He has the MOST overturned rulings in the history of Des Moines County, IA. He is a disgrace to the judicial system. |
