Caroline appeared very nervous during discovery, didn't understand self employment and did not check all of the facts she was given. She did not take the recommendations of a very high paid accountant, she recommended I hire, into account. In the end she relied almost entirely on tax returns (that turned out to be misreported) for her arguement. She was constantly telling me I was asking too much. In the end... it was way too little. DUH. The accountant and I tried to tell her that the write-offs did not apply. Sigh...The lady who recommended her to me is no longer working with her either. Worst part is I negotiated my own settlement. Nice lady. Not so good lawyer. |
