This law firm was hired to obtain a Apostille for me. They do not understand the process and they do not even know what offices to contact to obtain a Apostille. Every time they were contacted about the length of time that they were taking I only received excuses and insulting justifications of how it was never their fault. I was told the process would take five days including mail time and it turned out to be three weeks. After three weeks they gave me a certified copy of the divorce decree, which is only the first step in obtaining a Apostille. They also told me that the Apostille would come from the Prothonotary office at the courthouse. This is not possible because it is not what a Apostille is. The Apostille must come from the State Department. A Apostille is a certification to certify the prothonotary office signature so it becomes a legal document that can be used in other countries, and MUST be signed by the Secretary of state at the State Department office. |

very good lawyer. polite and pleasant in his office, complete pitbull at trial - hyper-prepared all the time. I was very happy with him. He's tough to get in contact with though, but his staff is super helpful, his secretary texted him for me right on the phone to call me and he did! very good experience overall. |
