Never Hire him again. All he needs is money. Never say what's going on and keeps dragging the case when it does not need something. Not a valuable lawyer for any cases.! |

I used him in my custody battle and found he stuck with 1 issue even though you can see it was not working for him, he did not listen when i reconmended the use of certain people for witness or not for witness over all I thought he could of fought my case a lot better or even harder than he did but he was very good at telling you he wants more money if I HAD IT all over to do again I would not hire him |

My girl friend hired this lawyer as stated by another poster he does target service people offering a discount. However he has yet to give a statement of his expenses and just kept asking for more money.The even bigger problem was she came out with less then she went in with.it should have been an easy case in family law.Imo he does not know family law and should be avoided at all cost. |

He represented me on a domestic assault charge and got the charge dismissed without me ever appearing in court, excellent lawyer, fees were reasonable. |

MR Singleton is one of the most expensive lawyers in Halifax $350/hr. He targets the local military community offering them a discount,even with the discount he is more expensive than other lawyers. I went to see MR Singleton because i was going through a divorce. It was a simple matter, I had a separation already written up from my ex wife and the only issues i had was if she was entiltle to my pension and when do i start paying child support. Mr Singleton told menot to sign or pay anything and that these matters take time. Two months later and numerous phone calls from me and from my ex wife's lawyer to see if any progress was made,MR Singleton tol me that my retainer was all used up and that the other party was upset because it was taking so long andthey wanted to take us to court. I then told him that i wouldno longer use his services due to i taught he was banking on them taking me to court to get more money. I could go on and share stories from other people i have met... |
