Leah was always ready to answer questions and give her reliable opinions on where a case may or may not go. She is excellent at communication and always explained next steps. I felt comfortable asking questions no matter how "dumb" I perceived them. She gets input from other attorneys in the office which helps the case. Her demeanor in the courtroom is very professional. She retorted the opposing counsels points with pertinent previous case law. Leah does her homework. |

I really needed an attorney that could understand my situation, help me come up with several possible solutions, and then help me see the whole process through, fine tuning it as we went. Leah was that attorney. She listened, she advised, she worked with me, and above all she always protected my best interests. Throughout the process she was clear, professional, and on top of the situation. As someone else said, divorce is never pleasant, but I feel the smartest thing I did for myself, and my family, was to find and engage Leah and her staff to represent me. |

Leah was great. She was so easy to get a hold of and always returned my emails and phone calls promptly. She was also able to explain things in a way I could undertand. Leah was very professional in court and you can tell that the other attorneys have a very high regard for her. |

I did a lot of looking around for the right attorney in my divorce case. My primary motive was truly to find an outstanding woman who would understand what was at stake here and offer the professionalism of her field, the compassion of a woman but also a good knowledgeable fight. Leah Setzen fit that bill to a T. Leah was a great listener. She was intuitive and empathetic but also firm and to the point. If she didn’t have the answer to a question she would get back to me within that day. The entire staff was great. They made a very difficult life situation much more tolerable. I actually looked forward to my visits. Somehow they made me feel whole, and respected and worth their while. I highly recommend Leah Setzen. |

I can't thank Leah and her staff enough for what they have done for me and my family. It was a difficult case and a difficult time for all of us. Leah and her staff were proffesional, curteous, kind and caring at all times. It was the kind and caring part that helped me get through these difficult and stressful times. I had tried to gain custody of my son in the past with a different lawyer and had the exact opposite experience. How do you know how to pick a "good" lawyer? Word of mouth. Experience from those before you. I can tell you that I have found a group of caring attorney's who are really out there to make a difference. Divorce is never fun, but Leah did a wonderful job of making me feel that everything was under control. Leah explained things clearly, communicated regularly, and made sure I felt at ease every step of the way. Leah, as one expects from one's lawyer, was well versed in what arguments we could or couldn't make. But what distinguishes her from far too many of her peers in the field was her willingness to make clear when winning a particular point was unlikely to be worth the fees she would have had to charge to pursue it. Leah demonstrated excellent judgment in picking our battles -- leaving me, at the end, with a settlement I am very happy with at a cost that is a small fraction of what I've seen friends pay even for much simpler divorces. As an attorney myself, I was especially impressed by Leah's billing. The entries clearly explained the work performed and demonstrated efficient use of time. Nearly three years later, I still feel like I got a great settlement at a great price. |
