I met with Hu after having a very lengthy struggle that got nowhere. I had in hand a minimum amount of the court documents for fear I should not overwhelm. Hu took to read the materials I did bring, proceeded to ask direct questions of what he needed to know and then simply went to work. I would offer that anyone who may read this commentary consider it a rousing endorsement of Hu's work. Go see him to set complicated matters in order. |

Hu was excellent in handling my divorce, I couldn't have been in the hands of a better lawyer. His knowledge of the system and what needed to be done was amazing, and he was helpful every step of the way. When the other side started doing some underhanded things Hu handled the situation very professionally and was able to turn things around. I would highly recommend Hu to anyone looking for an excellent lawyer, especially in tough divorce cases. |

Hu came highly recommended by a good friend that had used him in a bad divorce case and he was extremely happy with his services. I'm so glad I listen to my friend. As far as I'm concerned, Hu is the best. He sure knows divorce law. He knows what, how and when to do or say what needs to be done or said. I never disagreed with any of his suggestions and never regretted following his advice. Unfortunately, I won't need his services again because after the nightmare I just went through I won't marry again. My ex-wife sure hated him but I'm sure if she ever needs another divorce lawyer, he'll be the first one she'd call. |

I would highly recommend Hu Young as a divorce and child custody lawyer. He comes across very assertive, but that is what you want in a divorce where it is not so amicable. I always felt like he was looking out for my best interest and was taking care of me! He knows the law and his way around the court room! Now even my ex-husband recommends him to anyone, which shows how good he really was in my divorce. |

I couldn't be happier with my choice of lawyer. Hu is very knowable and sincere. He has keep me informed and gave me very good advise for the direction to take with my case. I will definitely recommend Hu to any friend of family that may find the self in need for good legal help. We all would like to go through life with no need for a lawyer but if the need arises it is a comfort to have Hu on your side. The staff at Hu's law firm have also made me feel like a valued person. My previous lawyer recommended Hu after she felt she had done all that she could for me in a high conflict, case management family law situation. Hu accepted my case and has always offered sound advice, He has represented well in court and been available to answer any questions I have presented him, at times after hours. Hu has always been fair, straightforward and honest. I have great respect for him and would recommend him to friends. The staff in his office are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. |

Hu Eliot Young provided a very good experience while going through my divorce. To start, he showed up at the court room, without ever having met me, and provided some information and support during an affidavit for interim parenting order. During the divorce process he provided feedback and information on all matters in a timely fashion. He was attentive and responsive even on evenings and weekends, and communicated even when he was on vacation. His knowledge of the courtroom and the Canadian legal system combined with his experience made him a valuable asset during this time. Thank you very much for your time. |

Hu has done a top-notch job on my divorce. Hu has incredulous knowledge of the law and accurately predicted courtroom outcomes. Gladly, we won most of our unavoidable courtroom duals. Hu did not withstand the less than ethical continual manipulations and bullying from opposing counsel. Hu did an outstanding job on my divorce and child access. He kept me informed, and did very well in the courtroom setting. He pushed hard enough with my ex that we were able to negotiate a fair deal that we both can live with and not have to spend more time and money in court. Hu was my second lawyer, the first lawyer worked on the case for 3 years to no solution and Hu had it settled in less than 6 months. Interesting enough, I asked my previous lawyer to give me the top 3 divorce lawyers in Edmonton. Hu was at the top of his list. |

“Principled” is what struck me first about Hu. Facing a rather nasty and detailed divorce I was referred to Hu by another lawyer that said, and I quote....”I don’t want this file, it will take me ten years to finish it”...end of quote. He proceeded to tell me that Hu, was his lawyer as well and he would recommend no one else.
Needing to return to Edmonton to finish my divorce, and other matters, I met Hu in person. From that day to this, which is not ten years...not even close, Hu has all my outstanding matters nicely handled and completed.
I found in Hu the integrity, the tenacity, the skill and the value that impressed me. Hu, and his staff, offered me the comfort of knowing that things were in more than capable hands. Any so-called ‘tense’ moments between Hu and I were of my own making, perhaps due to fear or insecurity on my part.
So, would I recommend Hu?.....anytime, anyplace, for any reason at all. He will get the job done right. |

Hu was the third lawyer I hired during my acrimonious divorce. He was the only one that understood the issues concerning my case, and his knowledge of Family Law is second to none. If I could give Hu a score of '10' for tenacity I would. I have since recommended Hu to other people, and would gladly do so again. |

Hu was recommended to me after a previous lawyer found herself in a "conflict of interest" with my divorce file. My file is labeled "high conflict" which constitutes less than 5% of divorce files. When I had to hire a new lawyer, several lawyers declined my invitation to meet because of the "high conflict" nature of my file. When I initially provided Hu the skeletal details of my file, he claimed he was "intrigued" and liked new challenges. My file has been nothing less than excruciatingly challenging. Hu has often exceeded my expectations and won nearly every court application. I recommend Hu to anyone seeking counsel with integrity and tenacity. Hu has always treated me with respect and considers ideas even if they oppose his own opinions. |

I was recommended to Hu when all other avenues of this case were going bad. Hu Immediately took control of this case with his vast knowledge of family law. He is very professional, courteous and does not put with bull. If I had went to Hu first before my previous lawyer, I could have had resolution way sooner than what it took and could have saved a pile of money.
