Mr. Burroughs is an excellent and compassionate attorney. He did a wonderful job with my Military divorce. He crossed every "t" and dotted every "i". If I could rate him a 10 out of 5, I would. |

This attorney is not experienced in contested military divorces. He might be okay for criminal law. Not recommended for the military divorces. |

Mr. Burroughs represented me in a complicated and difficult military divorce. Mr. Burroughs and his staff were always responsive to my concerns and respectful at all times. During the entire process, I felt that he was looking out for me and for my son's best interests. I have referred him to several people on my ship and they have all had great experiences and even better results. |

Mr.Burroughs has represented my family for the last two years. We have trusted him literally with our future. He has never failed us and we find him professional,knowledgeable, and compassionate. It would be hard to find better representation. |

Mr. Burroughs represented me in my divorce. He and his staff were always very professional and went above and beyond to ensure I understood everything that was going. They are truly a family firm with their clients best interests at heart! I would HIGHLY reccomend him and plan to continue using him for all my legal services. |

Mr. Burroughs was very knowledgable and helpful in representing me in my legal situation. He was very honest and professional at putting us ease. Mr. Burroughs made me feel like I was his only client. He is an excellent example of someone who takes pride in their profession. I recommended him to several coworkers, family members, and friends. |

We used Mr. Burroughs as our attorney for our Estate Planning and he was professional, knowledgeable, & put us at ease. My husband was getting ready to deploy at the time and we had to get everything in order before he left. Mr. Burroughs made all of the legal language and confusion of Estate planning easy to understand. With the state of the world today I was extremely uncomfortable about my husband having to get his Last Will & Testament prepared but Mr. Burroughs and his staff made me feel that this was something that needed to be done no matter what your occupation. In January of 2009, after reading the reviews from LawyeRatingz.com. and scheduling several consultations, I knew Mr. Burroughs was the lawyer for my son. He represents his clients with a level of integrity that cannot be measured. My son was falsely accused, and treated as guilty until Mr. Burroughs' representation proved his innocence. I had no faith in a legal system that would take an accusation, and only an accusation, and treat a 17 year old in the manner in which the Commonwealth of VA treated my son. His representation was instrumental in restoring faith in a broken legal system which has become accustomed to convicting the innocence. In a situation where it seemed as though there was no hope, this man, Mr. Burroughs, ate, slept, and breathed his case. He believed in my son and my family as well. Because of Mr. Burroughs' tenacious representation, and relentless diligence, my son is now a freshman student at a poplar HBCUs in FLORIDA!!!!! Thank you for believing in my son! |

Mr. Burroughs was upfront and honest with me about my situation from the start. He was kind and compassionate and helped me through a difficult military divorce and custody battle and the result was much better than I had hoped for. He was well prepared in court and well liked by the judge because he was prepared and had everything researched and organized. The guardian person for my children got along with him too. I think that this helped me in the end. |

Advertises military divorce experience but has none. After paying over $1000.00 my situation got worse. This attorney was siding with my ex-spouse. I got more information about military divorce from my ex's attorney. All he did pass information-a middle man, never gave legal advice. When I questioned his representation, he got very aggressive with me, with a lot more aggression than what he represented me. He totally changed his story from what he told me during the initial "free" consultation - once he got my money it seem like it was all about adding up the cost with no zero results. I would not recommend this so called Lawyer to any of my brothers and sisters in arms/military person.
In his website, he says that he is a professor at a local university: 1. I'm embarrassed for that university and those students; 2. it was very obvious that he belongs in the classroom and not practicing law. Save your hard earned money and hire someone else who will care for your situation. |
