I found Ms. Medvin after doing extensive search on lawyers in the Arlington, VA area and had noticed that she was very highly rated. She worked with both myself and my 18 year old son to explain his legal options. She worked with the detective and the prosecutor to get all the charges dismissed. We would recommend her to anyone!! |

I found Ms. Medvin after an extensive search and saw many lawyer rating sites that gave her consistently high ratings. Ms. Medvin contacted me right away, and discussed my case on several occasions before the court date. She patiently explained the Virginia legal system, and carefully went over all possible outcomes. We even had a debate about the interpretation of the law involved. Of course, she worked to get the case dismissed after talking with both the police officer and the prosecutor. The case received a dismissal pending the completion of 25 hours of community service. Ms. Medvin was calm, composed, knowledgeable, personable and professional. |

I would highly recommend Marina Medvin's represenation to anyone in need of a criminal attorney. She handled my case with complete competence and professionalism. I switched to Ms. Medvin after not getting any communication from my previous legal firm of Stone, Furlong and Dwerniak. She handled my case with great skill, communicated effectively with me at all hours. She did everything she said she would do and she did it when she said she would. In short, she behaved with complete integrity. Completely opposite to my experience with Stone, Furlong and Dwerniak. Her knowledge of the courts and prosecutors in the Alexandria court system as well as how to effectively work an amenable solution were superb. Marina is an awesome lawyer. I had 5 different charges related to a DUI case, and she managed to get 4 of them dropped. The penalty was a lot less severe than what it could of been. She is a top notch attorney. In addition, she is very nice and easy to get a hold of (ie. cell phone or email). To top it off, she know her stuff! Very smart on the interworking of law. I felt confident in her from the very first time we spoke. She is highly recommended! |

I am a 57 year old veteran of twenty years with 5 children. An incident came p that placed my life in limbo for almost 5 mos. I was charged with the theft of a Phone and was facing 1 to 20 years in prison for grand larceny! My lawyer, young and attractive, was introduced to me by my aunt, and on first glance I wondered how old she was and how many cases she had seen? I soon found out that she was as professional as she was young and pretty. She took the bull by the horns and gave me guidance that I never could have done for myself. She left no blanks in her description of what would or could possibily happen. She gave me a three deminsional view of my situation and apprised me of all my options so that I could make an educated decision and choose the right course of action.She knows the system and those involved and can give a psychological profile of their temperment so you know who and what you are dealing with. my case was dismissed due to her expertise.I would recommende her. |

Marina is not only a great attorney, but she is a great person. She represented me on a case in Arlington, VA. She values and cares about her clients like no attorney I have ever known (I have had some very bad experience). She was always in constant communication with me, she was always there for me when I needed it. I was falsely accused of a crime that carried a life sentence. As a member of the military who served overseas and who had earned numerous awards and accolades, being falsely accused of a crime was something that I never expected to happen. It tore apart my beliefs in the system that I had fought so ardently to defend. I found Marina through this site and ever since then my life has changed. Marina is extremely good at what she does. She was supremely confident in herself and her work. It allowed me to be confident and realistic about what was happening to me. Today, my case was thrown out of the court at the preliminary hearing, something almost unheard of in Fairfax County. The important thing to know here is that Marina has single handedly given me my life back and showed me that the system does work and proven that she is an amazing person and an incredible lawyer. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their counsel. |

We were wrongly accused of shoplifting. Although a petty crime of larceny in terms of the law, it was nonetheless serious to us. Who would want a criminal record for something he/she didn’t do? She is absolutely amazing and easy to relate to. I really appreciated how readily available she made herself via email, calls and text messages. She is honest and gives all possible outcomes but doesn't give up without a fight. She is great and because of her I was dismissed of an assault and battery charge Which was my first offense and the court date was two days prior to my graduation from undergrad. |

Marina was great to work with. I changed attorneys about two weeks before my case for reckless driving and Marina immediately made me comfortable that I had made the right decision. As a Sergeant in the Marines I am not only subject to civilian law but I can be punished under the Uniformed Code of Military Justice as well. A criminal conviction would put my security clearance at risk and could ultimately cost me my career. Ms. Medvin knew immediately the severity of my situation and all that I had to lose. She handled my case as if I were a personal friend and always made me feel confident that she was concerned and working tirelessly. I worked with lawyers before Ms. Medvin, which was a mistake. She is one of the most professional and promising lawyers I have ever worked with in my entire life. Having worked with law firms filled with "young bucks" that claimed to have good general knowledge of all areas, I have failed to be impressed time and time again. I was extremely pleased with the service from Marina Medvin. Living out of state, I greatly appreciated Ms. Medvin's assistance in resolving a Class 1 Misdemeanor by Speeding charge I received on a weekend visit to DC. Ms. Medvin was professional, communicative and tenacious in getting my charges dismissed. It was very comforting to know that whenever I called her, I actually got to speak to her and she was always very confident without overpromising. Ms. Medvin may be a young lawyer, but she is good at what she does. She was able to get my daughter's reckless driving ticket (90 in 55) reduced to speeding (74 in 55), before my daughter was even called before the judge. She was easy to talk to, compassionate of the situation, but she was also stright forward with what could happen. My daughter and I found her very easy to talk to and understanding. I would recommend her to anyone facing the same type situation. She was always available via phone, email, or text. She as recently started her own practice Medvin Law and I wish her well. I will be keeping her number, just in case I ever need it. |

I was very happy with Marina Medvin as my attorney. I have orinially hired another attorney for a criminal defense trial and I was not happy with him so I decided to go with another attorney which turned out to be Marina Medvin- She even counseled me on how to get my money back from the other attorney. She listed to what I had to say regarding the incident. She was always available via phone, text, or email to answer any questions or insecurities. She has a clear and strong foundation of the law. She is not afraid to put herself out there for her clients. During the trial she was always had a positive outlook and had a very comforting demeanor. Needless to say we won our case due to the fact that we had the truth on our side and she knew how to exploit the truth and bring outs the facts. My class 1 misdemeanor charge (90 in a 60) was reduced to a simple traffic infraction at a lower speed of 79. I though I had hired attorney Bose. My case was postponed once because of Mr. Bose's schedule, then I was assigned a different attorney a few days before my second court date. I was told the Bose Law Firm works as a team and they change attorneys as needed. The worst prosecutor and judge were on duty on my second court date. I was looking at a suspended license and reckless driving.They were not going to give me a break. I asked for a continuance. My case was given to Marina a few days before my next and written on my case file last court date (no more continuances). Marina did a great job. I was not comfortable until meeting her and talking to her. She was personable, confident & put me at ease. Marina followed through after my sentence to check to see if a mistake had been made which would have been in my favor. Marina did a great job.I recommend her. |

I was fortunate to meet Marina Madvin of the Bose law firm in the spring of 2010. Marina was managing my pretrial hearing in Federal District Court. I was facing 4 charges of DUI, DWI, Reckless and Speeding. Prior to the hearing, Marina met with me and explained the details of my case. Her extensive knowledge and expertise assuaged any fears I had of going to trial. At my pretrial hearing, Marina came well prepared and effectively negotiated with the prosecutor prior to the hearing. Through her superb negotiating skills, Marina convinced the prosecution to drop all charges in exchange for a plea to Reckless. I received no jail time and my license was never suspended. I am told that this is quite rare in light of the charges I was facing and I am confident that I would not have received this outcome had I been in the hands of anyone less skilled than Marina. She is a superb lawyer and I cannot recommend her enough. |

I had the pleasure of meeting Marina Medvin on June 23rd in Richmond Virginia. I had only been informed she had been assigned to my case less than 9 hours before I was due in court. Marina Medvin is awesome. She was able to get my Reckless Driving case dismissed. I am from New Jersey, and she was able to handle it all in Virginia without me having to go there.
