Every time I met with Elissa, she was degrading and insulting - acting as if she were sitting on a throne and you were wasting her time. In court, she appeared to be fighting more for my ex than me. She gave terrible advice, changed her mind and contradicted herself constantly, and was always cold and distant in demeanor. The case she put together for me was horrible, I think she spent at most half the time on it she charged me for. She ignored evidence and testimony that was important to my case. She encouraged me to settle for something I didn't want, then later refused to help me pursue it after saying I should. Altogether, I would avoid her (and her firm) at all costs. She doesn't care about you or your family - just her paycheck. Any lawyer that allows a good mother to lose custody of her kids to an abusive cheating ex is not someone you want to pay to represent you. She's not worth 1% the $200/hour she charges. Should be disbarred for her ignorance and non-professionalism. |
