nice man, but is way too concerned in maximizing his hours with client. only when you ask him to expedite the process, he'll then seemingly and momentarily step up to get things done, then reverts to slowing the process down dramatically. i felt almost like i was being nickled & dimed with him. Instead of wanting to really understand the entire story for my case and offering a real ear and seeming to have absolutely no compassion for what I was going through, he would just sit back and listen every time - extremely passive. then when he was either rushed by the courts, he would quickly speed things up, that i believe could've been more in my favor if he would've taken the time to better listen and understand. Shortly after, I went to another attorney and realized that mr. caufield should not have been my initial attorney, but someone else that had more sincere interest in getting things done right and in my favor, not just to line his pockets. Very disappointed with Mr Caulfield and his ethics. His sole interest is getting paid and has no regard for the safety and well being of my child. Between double billing, improper use of information and methods of intimidation, I could never reccomend him to any family. |

Joe was a GAL in a family matter for my child. He allowed both sides to bring forward issues and concerns. He then took the time to do very thorough research and made careful consideration before he arrived at a conclusion that was in the child's best interest. The case was very complex and not easy and when an opinion was formed, he continued to treat everyone with dignity and respect and never lost sight of the fact that he worked for my child's best interest. I imagine this job is not easy at all, but Joe's talent and character certainly made it seem so. I am still impressed at the depth of research that he did. He left no stone unturned. I think it made all the difference in the world and my child is better off as a result. Thank you, Joe. |

Attorney Caulfield was the GAL in our case and did an outstanding job. He was the only one who would listen and has helped save a little girl from a life of drug abuse and neglect. We are very thankful for the investigation he did and would reccomend him to anyone. He took the time to look into everything both sides said and found out the truth, that we knew all along. |

Atorney Caulfield was very knowledgable with my case. He work very hard on my case and looked at every angle to give me the best avenue for me. |

Joseph Caulfield is clearly a knowledgeable and communicative attorney. Unfortunately, in my experience, winning a case for his client was not his first priority, maximizing his fee was. |
