Catherine Moscarello has been disciplined and is no longer allowed to practice law in CA!!!!. She is on Probation, and not only is she required to pay restitution plus interest, she also is required to show that she is getting help for her substance abuse and on and on. It looks to me from the other ratings dated early 2012,as if she is trying to practice law illegally. As the others said, do not give her a penny! I am one of the clients who reported her activity to the Bar and just this week I received my restitution of $1500.00. It wasn't from her tho, it was from the Client Relief Fund. For me, this whole process went on for 6 years! SHE IS NUTS!!! |

This attorney may know her stuff ~ it appears she has basic knowledge at least, but she is nuts. She appears to be bi-polar ~ sweet as pie one minute, vicious and nasty the next. But the biggest problem is that she doesn't do her job. Once you give her your money, it is like pulling teeth to get her to actually file your case. Her husband joined with her to help rehab her reputation, but that's not her problem. The problem is that she doesn't do her job. It took me nearly a year to get this woman to do her job, and even then, she made mistakes, which required revisions that she thought I should pay extra for! I paid for one revision, but when another one was required, I did it myself. I had to finish my bankruptcy myself! DO NOT GIVE THIS WOMAN ANY OF YOUR MONEY. DO NOT USE THIS CRAZY WOMAN AS YOUR ATTORNEY! YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY! If there are any good ratings, they are probably from her or her husband! Don't believe them! |

I too hired Catherine and it took more than a year and a half to complete my bankrupcy case. She is very knowledgeable but was having some health issues is why she told me it took so very long. But it was disharged and everything did work out. |

Worst lawyer out there folks. She will swindle you out of your money and do absolutely nothing for you. She has a boatload of excuses and will lead you on until your problems become worse. Do not hire her. She takes no responsibility for her actions, doesn't follow through with requests and avoids doing anything that might actually help you. She had my case on her desk for the better of a year and did nothing with it. FAIL ALERT. |

She requires a cash deposit and then she doesn't return calls or perform any work. She has numerous judgements against her with the California State Bar Association and is currently suspended. |

Thankfully, she has been suspended from practicing law in California (State Bar Case #09-0-11594) for stealing money from so many clients. She has been ordered to pay restitution to many of her clients, so those of you complaining about her should contact the CA State Bar. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving person. |

I came to Catherine after making arrangements for my infants burial.I explained she was referred from Handle on the law.Its been a year in a half nothing has been done all she wants is more money after being paid in full.I would not wish her on my worst enemy.Stay away from this women |

I just found this site and I do not know what you all are talking about. I hired Catherine in 2009. She provided me with the level of service and professional attention to detail that I would expect from an experienced attorney. She communicated well and often - even providing me with her cell phone number. She was easy to reach - working on weekends and late into the evening. She treated me with respect and compassion and I would highly recommend her to my friends and family! |

I wish I had reviewed this site prior to hiring Catherine Moscarello. I have paid the total amount due, however,she has not provided any service other than information on how I need to forward my retainers to her bank account. |

This lawyer took my retainer and then gave excuses on why she couldn't file my case. I had to hire another attorney. |
