I can't say enough good things about Dorie...she was knowledgeable, more than competent, compassionate, fair, and accessible. We came to Dorie looking for representation for our son. We were tired, grief stricken, and likely a pain in the rear end. She was patient and kind, and listened to all our dumb stories...relevant or not. In the end, we were convinced that we could not have found better representation. She was literally a Godsend. You can't do much better in my estimation! |

Possibly the best attorney and support staff in Indianapolis!!! It’s hard for her to improve on anything when she is perfect in the courtroom!! Choosing Rick and Dorie was the only good decision I made in the past year. |

I am a lawyer in another state. When my son was recently involved in a criminal charge in Indiana Dorie was referred to me by a criminal attorney in my home state. Dorie was a God send. She went to work immediately to have him released from jail and was ultimately able to have all charges dismissed. She also had the record sealed. Most importantly, she communicated with my son and kept him very well informed all during what was a stressful period for him. |

I thankfully came across Dorie while I was searching the internet for an attorney to represent my son. I live out of state and was dissatisfied w/the previous attorney. Dorie returned my initial phone call quickly and I secured her services after a brief conversation. My first impressions over the phone turned out to be dead on. Dorie is an excellent attorney. Keeping me up to date and always returning my long distance phone calls. Patiently explaining all aspects of the situation until I understood. Dorie's professionalism, preparedness and knowledge is superb. I would recommend Dorie to anyone. |

I have always had a rough time with attorneys in my past. It was a relief when I had Dorie working on my behalf. She went above and beyond her duties to not only take care of the case but myself as well. Anytime I had a question she did more than expected through her thorough explanations of everything to ensure I understood everything to the fullest. During the year before trial she always checked on me several times during the week to make sure I was doing okay stress wise. If I was struggling she always took the time to talk me through everything and make things okay again. I felt save and in good hands with Dorie. Wonderful,great,amazing, any nice word u can thing of describes her as a lawyer. Should of been a felon, am not and she got my license suspension reduced under tha mandatory sentencing. She was ALWAYS there when I needed her. Highly recommend her!!! |

Dorie represented me in a case that started about a year and a half ago and ended last week. I was charged with a felony and numerous accounts of misdemeanors which were dropped. She responded to e-mails and phone calls immediattely. Together with Rick Kammon they did a terrific job. If you find yourself needing a good lawyer i would recommend these two to anyone. I personally thank them for giving me my life back. |

I can't put into words how thankful I am to have found Dorie. I faced 2 major felonies and had lost everything. Dorie gave me hope and was there whenever I needed her. She had faith in me and worked hard every step of the way. She promptly returned my calls and calls from my family. I told her I wouldn't give up and neither did she. as far as lawyers go they have a tuogh job. someone has a problem and expects the lawyer to fix it. Dorie was understanding, seemed to really care,and while some things might be black or white only in law she tried to show me the gray too. Thank you Dorie |

Dorie is the best lawyer I have ever seen work .She is helping me out in my case if I have any questions she is there to answer them .Just to help my family and I out she drove around westren Indiana to help me get out of jail for something I didn't do and it was snowing bad that day . I owe Dorie alot just for that. I don't understand how anybody could say anything bad about her .Dorie knows what she is talking about and I have even given her name to other people that need a lawyer.She aways calls me back and understands how I feel about what is going on . I feel that if someone has a problem with her that they need to set back and think if it wasn't there falt. I have used Ms. Hertzel twice in the past 4 years. I love this woman. She has kept 2 major felonies off my son's record. Her knowledge of the law is excellent. She has a respected reputation within our judicial system. During both situations with my son, she made herself available at all hours and kept me from many sleepless nights. She is honest, compassionate and caring. Dorie explains the good and the bad involving your case. I would highly recommend her or this law firm to anyone. Again, without Dorie, my son would be in jail with a felony record. Excellent work Dorie! You are my lifesaver!! |

I hired Dorie to represent me in a bogus Protective Order case and property retrieval. I think she had no interest in my case yet she took it. She never contacted the Prosecutor like she promised she would. After I lost the Protective Order case, I at least expected her to follow thru with property retrieval. Of course it never happened. I was not impressed with her knowledge. I would not hire Dorie again or recommend her again. |
