BJ represented me in the initial divorce...when my ex tried taking me back to court for contempt... and when I went for full custody... amazing atty, extremely knowledgeable, knows how to weed through the "drama" typically associated & get the important facts out... have sent 2 others to him & they have had the same results. Would recommend to anyone..this guys KNOWS family law! |

Excellent representation by this firm! I got the benefits of both Mr. & Mrs. Abbott in my case 24/7! I will refer all family and friends to Abbott...and on the plus side he has an aweseome paralegal that take time out to listen. BJ is very agressvive in the courtroom and a go getter. |

BJ Abbott in Cobb & Cherokee. In Cherokee he and atty Ballinger are the only game in town & they take advantage of it! Abbott takes a very high retainer, & then does nothing. Before you know it, its been 2 yrs,your broke & you never had your day in court. He won't stick up for you at the temp hearing & he sends his WIFE to the mediation.If you e-mail him to ask what is going on, he charges you $350. If you want an appt, you get there expecting to see him & you talk to his paralegal. I was in court one day and saw a young man down on his luck representing himself in his divorce. When the Judge asked what happened to his atty Abbott, he replied: he took all my money but we never got to court. So now,I'm broke and representing myself. If he or atty Ballinger screw up, or forget discovery, or just don't have time to communicate with their client, they get together to fabricate a reason and change court dates. In my opinion these two atty's take advantage of their clients. Shame on them!!! |
