Mr. Hofland represented me in a divorce and child custody matter. He always took my phone calls or returned them right away. He was very sympathetic of my needs and always kept me up to date on the status of my case. His staff is very friendly and knowledgable. I highly recommend him for any type of family case. I wish I had filed a complaint with the bar against him, he was that bad. I am hoping that this review will be of benefit to future, potential victims.
When your attorney meets you outside the courtroom and whispers in your ear "What are the issues again" after you've had lengthy conversations with him, sent numerous emails which he billed you for... expect that sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach to only worsen as Bradley "fights for you" in the courtroom. He also overcharged me with hours. One repetitively worded document that should have taken 2 hours tops ( I know because I write documents all day), took Bradley 8 hours?
Don't use him unless you want to lose. He is completely incompetent at anything other than taking your money. He didn't do his due diligence when verifying income stated in the financial affidavit and now I get $450 a month in child support based on 38K, while the child from a 2nd marriage gets $1,140 a month because income is actually 110K. |
