Vermont DUI Lawyer Needed!!

Postby punkrawkr » Thu Feb 09, 2012 7:53 pm

I am from CA and am searching for an amazing DUI lawyer in Vermont. A very dear friend of mine that I am helping out, just moved to Stowe Vermont a couple of weeks ago and last Saturday got charged with a DUI. He already has 2 wet reckless from CA on his record, so in Vermont this would be considered his third offense?? And the consequenses in Vermont for a third offense arnt pretty, so we need an extremely good DUI lawyer. But nott being from the area, I am at a loss of who to go to, and really dont want to make the wrong decision. The other problem we are facing is that since he just recently moved,he is very limited on funds. So please any advice????

Just for the hellavit: find out who his insurance carrier is and what limits he has in place, or is it remotely possible he has had lapses in coverage and long periods of no coverage. I have standard 100/300k but have never had a DUI or accident, and average 1 minor moving violation every 12 years, and object to "having" to carry uninsured/underinsured coverage for the slime who infest the roadways.

Tell this amazing, irresponsible POS to find a high cliff, take along a 12 pack, and drop a concrete block on the gas pedal as he guzzles down can #12.

BTW: your tale of woe would lead most readers to conclude you see that dear friend every time you are in front a mirror.

The truth is often a rude awakening.

Soliciting advice for selecting a lawyer reveals the depths of your stupidity.

There is no method to verify the informational source, not to mention this isn't a
help line for drunken sloths.

EVERY RESPONSIBLE DRIVER SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED BY THE FOLLOWING INFO

3rd Drunk Driving Conviction

•Jail – 5 Years Maximum
•License Suspension – Life*
•*License May Be Restored After 3 Years of Total Abstinence from the Consumption of Drugs and Alcohol, $500 Application Fee Required.
•Fine - $2,500 Maximum
•DUI Surcharges $160 Minimum
•Subject to Forfeiture of Vehicle
•Community Service – 400 Hours or,
•1000 Consecutive Hours of Imprisonment Minimum Must be served

Is there anyone in Vermont that has had a good experience (or bad) with a DUI Lawyer, and would recommend them?? Im not looking to get into stupid word wars. I dont live on the East coast so I am simply asking about previous experiences from others that have used DUI lawyers in the Vermont area. If you have nothing to say about Vermont lawyers that may help out, please dont respond to this post. I just dont have the time. Thank you. :D

Sorry,, you are in the wrong place to get help..... I dont think any sane person would give you advice.. 3rd time?? sounds like you or your friend or whomever needs a good shrink instead of a lawyer--sounds like you or your friend or whomever have issues to resolve.

Any person who is going to help you or your friend or whomever with a DUI--should also seek a good shrink... Most sane people want you or your friend or whomever who is a drunk--off the roads not help you find a good lawyer to help slime and sleeze stay on the roads.

You are 100% correct but did you really expect this clown to embrace reality. The post reveals an individual who lacks intellect and character.

But that "friend" is really a great person who just made some poor choices !! Like the DUI millionaire in Florida who recently ran a stop sign and slammed his $200,000 Bentley into another vehicle and killing the occupant. Or the Chicago area POS drunk who killed a highway worker . Both of these killer drunks fled the scene.

In 2009 there were 12,740 booze related fatalities, which was a whopping 38 percent of all vehicle deaths.

Maybe this lawyer knows a good DUI guy in Vermont............
