While going thru the worst period of my life he & Cindy Prudinowski royally screwed me. Lied to me tried to get me to lie about my spouse as well. Billed me $500.00 for free consultation. Took 20 grand retainer then would not return phone calls, send invoice or return my funds. Stay away...I wouldn't wish my experience with him on anyone! |

This guy's act does not pass the laugh test. He gets on TV and makes excuses for his client that only a complete idiot could believe. Typical NY lawyer who thinks he is clever,but in reality people laugh at him. SCUM BAG |

Dominick is amazing!!! I was never married and he took care of my son and I. He never missed a court date even though I was in family court. He goes above and beyond. Maby these negative comments are coming from extremely bitter self righteous people that need to look at themselves. Today because of Dominick and Lance, I am able to live an amazing life with my son. I owe it all to Dominick. He is a true blessing and I don't know what I could have done without him, even to this day, he will call me back within hours for a simple question:) |

Dominic is out for Dominic. If you are considering hiring Dominic, do yourself a favor and simply go to your bathroom and flush $20,000 down the toilet. Then go look to hire somebody else. It's the same conclusion you'll come to once you have hired him and he's burned through your retainer while doing unnecessary shoddy work and encouraging you to compromise your own integrity by lyeing to the police to have your spouse illegaly arrested. Once you have an order of protection against your spouse you can't negotiate directly with your own spouse which only increases his billing. |

Dominic is an incredible trial attorney, who has incredible knowledge of the law. He is hard to beat. After reading some of the responses on this site, I wonder whether most of these are made up by adversaries or spouses of the clients that Dominic represented. You can't always believe what you read especially when You have no idea who is writing it. Learn the true facts before making a decision. |

Dominic might be a great lawyer if you are totally loaded but what I got for my money, wasn't worth it. He's high-priced, he's also high profile, which could be good, but they just didn't even out. A little less hype and a little more caring would have gotten him a better rating from me. I think I could've gotten the near 50/50 split with my wife from someone less expensive and a little more humble. |

I think he was the worst lawyer I could have had. Going through a divorce, bad time depended on him and got no satisfaction. Lied to me to get my business charge a hugh fee and in the end I had to split everything even though he promised me that I would be able to get my house. All he saw was dollar signs. He's a big, fat, sloppy jew who should be disbarred and if I can I will try to. |

Dominic saved my life and the lives of my children in my divorce case. He will fight to the end for your children and is far and away more impressive than my X's attorney in Court, which showed in the results I received. Thank you Dominic! |

Dominic represented my sister in her divorce and did a wonderful job. My sister was very happy with both Dominic and his associates. They were very attentive to her needs and wishes, and helped her through one of her more difficult times. I would certainly recommend Dominic to any person seeking a divorce, and would never consider using another attorney(hopefully I will never need to though). |

There is never a good time to get a lawyer. Either you, a family member or friend is in trouble with the law, there is a divorce, child custody issues, etc. My family and I have been so fortunate to have had the Law Offices of Dominic Barbara in our corner. Dominic is a caring, aggressive and intelligent attorney. His staff, from the secretaries to his associate counsel are top notch. Mr. Barbara's law firm represented me in a difficult child custody case. His advice to me was right on point. He made all important court appearances. Additionally, the attorney that he assigned to my case was so knowledgeable about the law and was an strong advocate for me. I have read the negative posts here, and I cannot disagree more with some of the outrageous comments made about Mr. Barbara and his law firm. I have to question the true motives of these posts. I know from my experience, the experience of family members and other, that this law firm is of the highest quality. |

Took me for a few hundred thousand dollars, and I'm not finished yet since I still have money he wants. Lied and sold me out.Plan on suing him for malpractice. Please stay away. There are some reputable attorney out there. He has no morals, ethivs or principles. He only wants MONEY. GOOD LUCK |

After reading many of the comments is easy to see they must have either had no chances to get money from there divorce or they are ex-employees who got fried for being a no good attorney. Dominic is the best out there. He is known around the word for his great attorney knowledge. |

This guy really is a piece of work. He billed me over $40K. When I spoke to another lawyer the guy told me it should have been around $4K. I went to him because I heard him on the radio. What a scum. He really is rich because he screws people. |

didnt return calls, wouldnt account for where my money went, never saw a bill until after the case was over...and saw 'lawyers' names on the bill for appearances who I never met. I would never go back there. |

I went to him regarding my divorce. I left there thinking I should probably call the police to fill out a report for ROBBERY! He seemed more concerned with his gastric bypass, his own divorce and filling his pockets with huge amounts of cash than taking care of his clients needs! This guy has no human compassion whatsoever! I will say however, two exceptional lawyers (the only two valuable ones on his staff, and the ones who ultimately handled my case) were smart enough to leave this guys comedy club! (I thought this place was a joke! )Ferzola,Kommor,and Vopat are in close proximity and are true professionals! They have overwhelming knowledge in all areas of law, they respect their clients and they will never rob you blind! |

This frim has no communication values and work quality is very very poor. Example- Firm doen't return any phone calls properly and there fees are very very questionable. This firm is not to be trusted in my opinion. They say what they are goint to do for you but in the end nothing gets accomplished. They just ask for more and more and more money and you still see no results and finally have to seek a new lawyer after all is said and done . |

Stay away from this lawyer if you dont want to end up broke during your divorce.You never see him unless there is a trial scheduled, & basically at your trial he is there as a second attorney just to raise your fees on paying for 2 attorneys showing up at court.To boot his knowledge of your case will be a quick reading of notes or discussions from his staff of a hired lawyer that you will spent the entire time talking and dealing with during your divorce. One of my biggest gripe was how could he know my whole case that took years to prepare in just a few hours.He has a loud mouth with large ego to match & has no feelings for his clients other then filing his pockets with their money.His hired lawyers make mistake after mistake on important matters concerning dates,names,assets you have,important legal documents,& many other important papers filed to the courts on your behalf. Not only do you end up with less because of their mistakes but you have to pay him his fees for them doing it. |
